Petition, 1608.

A petition addressed to Sir Julius Caesar, Chancellor of the Exchequer, to obtain privy seals for Thomas Jeffreys and James Annewood, in recognition of money advanced to the crown, as documents from which the debt could be repaid. With note at end by Sir Julius Caesar.

Sir Julius Caesar was admitted to the Inner Temple in 1580 and received his doctor of laws degree from Oxford in 1584.
